FOBTY 9/17

Mary wanted us to write about the fairs we go to or are going to. We normally go to the Nebraska State Fair Labor Day weekend, but this year we skipped it. We had so much going on that I just didn't want to take a whole day to go. But DS got to go with my parents and they stayed the night, went swimming and then headed to the fair the next day. His favorites were the homemade beef jerkey (which we got to taste, YUM!), Elvis impersonator, personalized book, all the police stations. He really enjoys going and getting all the freebies and watching the street performers. They have some great little talents and a free concert a night. This was the last year of it being in Lincoln and then it is moving to Grand Island, so we probably won't make anymore of them.
